Mrs. Wiley earned her Bachelor & Master of Music Degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Mrs. Wiley was a First Violinist with the Dallas Opera Orchestra for 11 years, Soloist and Concertmaster of the Texas Chamber Orchestra for 13 years, and also performed with artists such as Reba McEntire, Don Henley, Doc Severinsen, and others. She has enjoyed teaching students, all ages and levels, violin and piano for almost 30 years! Upon returning to Sarasota in 2004, Mrs. Wiley founded Sarasota Violin Academy, was the Sarasota Youth Orchestra Prelude Strings Conductor, GCHFA Strings Director/Conductor/Coach for 3 years and is currently a Violin/Viola Coach with the Itzhak Perlman, Perlman Music Program Suncoast Super Strings program.
