Kristy Rispens

Kristy, originally from the Chicago suburbs, retired as the Popcorn Sales Manager for the Boy Scouts of America. After moving to Florida, she resumed playing French Horn full time, studying professionally under Robert Moore. Along with teaching privately, Kristy performs with the Sarasota Pops Orchestra, Sarasota and Manatee Concert Bands, the Bradenton Symphony Orchestra, and the 1st Baptist Church of Palmetto Orchestra. Kristy is a founding director of the Gulf Coast Horn Club and a member of the International Horn Society. She is passionate about sharing her love for the French Horn and the impact of music on all ages. When not playing or practicing horn, Kristy loves to spend time in the kitchen creating, reading, and swimming, as well as spending time with her husband and their 7 grand babies!
